38mm Black Textured Coat Button – Large Flat Shank Jacket Button – Sold Individually

This is a fabulous big black coat button if you're looking for something a little more unusual than a plain button.

The front has a deeply textured geometric design with an almost woven effect. Being completely black makes it very easy to use, but the textured surface gives it plenty of interest.

At 38mm, it's a good substantial size for coats, jackets, chunky cardigans and heavier knitted garments. The flat shank on the back sits behind the button rather than having the usual loop-style shank.

I think this would look particularly good on wool coats, oversized jackets and chunky hand knits, especially when you want the buttons to become part of the overall design.
